Central School Libraries

Teacher Librarians  

Federation policy is:

1. Librarians in central schools should be classified as secondary school librarians for purposes of staffing and working conditions.

2. All central schools have a full-time librarian for five days per week.

3. A second teacher librarian who is primary trained be appointed to all central schools with a total enrolment of 250 students or more.

4. A full-time library clerical assistant be provided to all central schools.
