Venues to be advised

Members in Schools, OCAA, CorrectiveServices ,AMES and Board of Studies workplaces are urged to attend a Stop Work meeting of UP TO 2 hours on Thursday, 15 December.

The Stop Work Meetings will vote on future action early in term 1, 2012.

Members will be provided with the latest important information via live broadcast, regarding Federation’s campaigns to achieve both new salaries awards, and a new schools staffing agreement.

Minimal Supervision Authorised

It is understood that notice of this stop work is late and that many schools have end of year activities planned with commitments made to students and parents. Where members believe it is necessary, on this occasion, minimal supervision is authorised for this stop work, however it is crucial that every school is represented at the Stop Work meetings and that information from the meetings is communicated back to all members at the workplace.

Stop Work Meeting Venues, Draft Letter to Parents, and Campaign Updates

Venues will be faxed to workplaces early next week and members should refer to www.nswtf.org.au for venue updates and the latest advice in regard to the campaigns and action.

A draft letter will be available on Monday to explain the reasons for the stop work action to parents and caregivers.
