Environmentally-friendly approach in 2008

By Lynn Takayama

Federation is looking for members interested in green issues to participate in a campaigns course.

To generate wider membership involvement and activism on environmental issues a campaigns course will be held on March 26, 2008.

The course will be a precursor to a Federation conference concerned with a range of environmental issues to be held on November 1, 2008.

The aim of the campaigns course would be for a group of interested members to provide input to the Senior Officers for the workshops and issues to be covered at the November conference.

Interested members are invited to apply to attend the campaigns course by emailing their interest to welfare@nswtf.org.au. Upon receipt of an email an application to attend the course will be sent to them. Applicants will be asked to provide their name; membership number; name of their current school and a description of the things/ideas that they believe they can contribute to the campaigns course.

Lynn Takayama is a Welfare Officer.
