Deadline for annual school reports deferred

By Sally Edsall

Federation has reached agreement with the Department of Education and Training (DET) to defer the deadline for completion of primary school annual school reports until the end of term 1, 2004.

No pressure is to be put on principals to have reports completed prior to that date.

Negotiations took place after the DET announced its intention to change the reporting template and to put all reports onto the DET website.

Agreement has also been reached such that no reports will be placed on the Internet.

Sally Edsall is a Research Officer.
