Get streetwize about asylum seekers

Streetwize Communications has launched a new comic for young people addressing attitudes and dispelling myths held around asylum seekers, called The Other Side.

Streetwize Communications (www.streetwize.com.au) is a national not for profit organisation that specialises in providing educational resources about social issues for young people and other hard to reach groups. For 20 years Streetwize has produced accessible, entertaining and relevant comics and resources on issues such as law, health, employment, safety and discrimination. Other recent projects include Keep Safe It's Your Right, -- a campaign to raise awareness about sexual harassment and healthy relationships and Moola Talk, a national campaign to educate and inform remote indigenous communities about insurance and finance.
