Women activists welcome

By Siobhan Callan

All financial Federation women members are encouraged to attend the annual Women's Conference on May 21 at the Guthrie Theatre, University of Technology in Sydney, from 8.30 am to 4.30 pm.

Registration papers have been included in the latest mailout to all Association Secretaries.

Country Associations need to be reminded that Federation will fund one woman delegate from each Country Association. The Associations themselves may also elect to fund extra delegates through Association funds.

Aboriginal members may also wish to find out further details by contacting Aboriginal Education Coordinator Charline Emzin-Boyd on (02) 9217 2100.

TAFE women members can contact TAFE TA Secretary Linda Simon on (02) 9217 2311 or by emailing linda@nswtf.org.au.

City women members can either register through their Association or by ringing Women's Coordinator Siobhan Callan on (02) 9217 2152.

The Women's Conference is always very well attended and provides an opportunity to meet many other great women activists.

Federation welcomes both new and experienced women unionists to attend this important event.

Siobhan Callan is Women's Coordinator.
