Photo competition

Theme: "Teachers: helping young people grow and learn"

Federation will award five prizes of $200 each or ten prizes of $100 each (or a combination thereof) for photos on the theme "Teachers: helping young people grow and learn". (Photos containing teachers are particularly appreciated).

The photos may be black and white or in colour and may be submitted either as an unmounted print, a mounted slide (but not as a negative) or digital file (jpg). Digital photos must be printed out, but do not need to be printed in colour. However, each printout must be clearly labelled with the file name.

Do not imbed photographs in word processing packages.

Please include your name, address, membership number (if teacher) and work and home phone numbers with all entries.

The competition is open to members and students in all public education, including schools and TAFE colleges.

Federation reserves the right to publish all entries in a variety of publications and photographers should seek the consent of individuals photographed.

Federation will print the winning entries in Education.

Decisions of the judges will be final.

Entries close January 13, 2006.
