Mundey congratulates school

Environmental and political activist Jack Mundey celebrated National Tree Day with Tregear Public School students, teachers, parents and community members.

Mr Mundey (pictured left) delivered the keynote address in which he highlighted the importance of environmental issues and congratulated the students and school community for planting more than 200 native trees and shrubs within the school grounds.

Principal Russell Hawkins said: "It's wonderful to see the kids take great pride in their work and the care they have for the look of their school."
