Sydney walks against warming
A crowd estimated at 20,000 marched through the streets of Sydney from Martin Place to the Domain in support of action against global warming on November 4.
A Newspoll survey has reported that 91 per cent of Australians, including 90 per cent of Coalition voters, want Australia to shift away from reliance on coal-fired power to renewable energy sources, and 86 per cent believe the Federal Government should be doing more to tackle climate change.
