A-E ban remains
Federation's A-E student report ban remains in place.
General Secretary John Irving said NSW public school teachers continue to reject any attempt by federal and state governments to impose educationally unsound student reports.
"The ban upholds the right to professional decision-making on educational grounds," he said in a faxstream sent to Federation Representatives and principals on February 14.
"Federation thanks all members for their commitment to this campaign. Federation will continue to provide its full support to all members as the campaign continues," he added.
Comprehensive advice about student reports will be sent to schools as soon as possible.
