APEC public holiday declared for Sydney metro

The NSW Government has announced details of a public holiday to coincide with the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit to be held in Sydney in September.

The public holiday on September 7 has been declared for the Sydney metropolitan area only, including Penrith, Camden and Campbelltown.

The public holiday will apply to the following Local Council Areas: Ashfield, Auburn, Bankstown, Baulkham Hills, Blacktown, Botany Bay, Burwood, Camden, Campbelltown, Canada Bay, Canterbury, Fairfield, Holroyd, Hornsby, Hunters Hill, Hurstville, Kogarah, Ku-ring-gai, Lane Cove, Leichhardt, Liverpool, Manly, Marrickville, Mosman, North Sydney, Parramatta, Penrith, Pittwater, Randwick, Rockdale, Ryde, Strathfield, Sydney, Sutherland, Warringah, Waverley, Willoughby and Woollahra.
