May Day March

Event date: 07 May 2006
Location: HYDE PARK NORTH
Time: ASSEMBLE 11.00 A.M. - MARCH AT 12 NOON
GUEST SPEAKER: SHARAN BURROW (President ACTU)

The end of a fair go!

For many in Australia a "fair go" doesn't exist. Under the Federation Government's new Industrial Relations laws a "fair go" will be abolished for workers. Under these laws workers and their families will be forced to accept the intrusions of the employer into their family life and leisure time.

We can only stop this occurring by people uniting to put an end to this injustice.

The Federation supports the May Day March on 7 May and encourages wide participation of members.

The Your Rights at Work bus will be doing two pick ups from Parramatta station (times to be confirmed but possibly around 9am and 10:30am). A gold coin donation will get you a seat but it will be on a first come first on the bus basis.
