May Day march

Event date: 06 May 2007
Location: Hyde Park North
Time: 11 am
The annual May Day march in Sydney is on Sunday 6 May. Workers, their families and community representatives are asked to rally at Hyde Park North at 11 am and the march will begin at 12 noon.

Kerry Nettle, Greens Senator, and John Sutton, National Secretary of the CFMEU, will address the rally. At the end of the march there will be a concert featuring Urban Guerillas, Temple and May Day. A jumping castle, face painting and balloons will be provided for the kids.

It will be a great day out but more importantly it demonstrates to the Howard government that the union movement is determined to continue campaigning against its draconian industrial relations laws.
