Audit deadline extended
The deadline for the existing maintenance backlog audit by the Federation has been extended until the end of the year.
On November 10 Federation sent a fax to Federation Representatives, principals and institute managers asking them to collate maintenance backlog issues and to send copies to Federation Assistant General Secretary (Schools) John Irving, the Premier, Minister, Director-General and local MP.
Federation will collate returns centrally and also seek discussions with the Department of Education and Training and the Government about contracts and Federations support for the development of an asset register.
