No privatisation of any public education assets

That Federation rejects the privatisation of any public education assets.

The introduction of PFI (privately funded infrastructure) and the subsequent changes to the funding of private schools will form part of any pre-election analysis for campaigning purposes.

One of the most insidious aspects of the elements of privatisation that has occurred is the loss of skills in the public sector. The implications are that the skills are lost to the public sector. The private sector knows that it will destroy the public system and thus will be able to dominate all future contracts.

Government assets will be on-going generators of greater wealth for private interests. We must make a stand now to protect the public sector and protect taxpayers interests.
