Angry teachers dump careless Spotlight

Spotlight VIP cardholders so angry they were ready to put their cards in the bin
Spotlight VIP cardholders so angry they were ready to put their cards in the bin

Spotlight VIP cardholders are being asked by the Shop Distributive and Allied Employees Association to let Spotlight know they are disgusted with the AWA it is offering staff.

The company wants to introduce new individual contracts that for an extra two cents per hour will reduce all work on all days to one single rate, abolish the 17.5 per cent annual leave loading, abolish tea breaks, have no shift length, and take away three public holidays plus a picnic day.

Cardholders are asked to send a fax to (03) 9690 9041 telling the Spotlight general manager how appalled they are by Spotlight's actions. Visit www.rightsatwork.com.au/campaigns/spotlight to send an email.

Correspondence to Spotlight should include your VIP customer number.

Federation members are also asked to send back their Spotlight VIP customer mail with envelopes marked "return to sender" and "no AWAs".
