Regional rallies for November 15

Regional rallies will follow the Your Rights at Work Worth Fighting For Sky Channel on November 15.

Newcastle Trades Hall Council Secretary Gary Kennedy said there would be a march from Newcastle Panthers to the NSW Industrial Relations Commission, 251 Wharf Road, Newcastle, in support of the NSW system and against the federal proposals, with speeches to be heard through a PA system.

South Coast Labor Council Secretary Arthur Rorris said following a short meeting following the Sky Channel broadcast it was expected there would be a march from the main venue, the WIN Entertainment Centre, through the streets of Wollongong to McCabe Park.

There are more than 215 Sky Channel venues outside the two Sydney City venues, from Albury to Young.

Sky Channel broadcasts will be seen from Tweed Heads in the north, Eden in the south, Lismore in the east and Broken Hill in the west.

They will be seen close to the sea at Nelson Bay, in the mountains at Springwood and in the outback at West Wyalong.
