Borrowing from the Federation Library

Photocopying and printing

The charge for photocopying and printing is 25 cents per A4 sheet of paper. Non-members, authorised to use the Library by the General Secretary, are charged 30 cents. If you need these services for Federation business, there is no charge.

Borrowing

Members may borrow up to six items for a period of four weeks. Please contact the Library to renew loans prior to expiry of the loan period. Reference material is available for consultation in the Library and may not be borrowed. Officers and members on official Federation business may borrow reference material for use at Teachers Federation House only.

Postal service

The Library will pay for the cost of posting material to any member requesting the service. It is the responsibility of the member to pay for the return postage.

Overdue and lost items

There are no fines for late return of library materials but overdue loans may prevent further borrowing. Items not returned six months after the due date are deemed lost and charged to the borrower at replacement cost plus a $20 processing fee. Members may not borrow until outstanding fees have been paid.
