Federation Supports PSA bans

faxstream sent to all schools and colleges

The Public Service Association (PSA) has imposed bans in support of the PSA?s claim for additional SAS staffing hours for GST work.

A faxstream has been sent to all schools and colleges asking Federation Representatives to bring to the attention of all staff the Federation's support of the PSA campaign.
The Public Service Association (PSA) has imposed bans on:

- collection and receipting of all moneys;
- all orders and payments;
- reconciliations and financial reports;
- Business Activity Statements.

These bans are in support of the PSA?s claim for additional SAS staffing hours for GST work.

Federation members are to be informed of these bans and are urged to support PSA members in any way possible.

Federation members are reminded that the collection of money is not a role for teachers.

Authorised by John Hennessy, General Secretary
