A new Anti-Racism Policy was passed at November State Council.

This year’s Multicultural report to Annual Conference summarised the challenges facing this important part of our public education system in 2012 and 2013. It outlined Federation’s actions and highlighted the need for continued campaigning to achieve our objectives in both schools and TAFE.
This report covered multicultural education in public education including; ESL and community languages, Saturday Schools of Community Languages, the Multicultural Programs Unit, TAFE, anti-racism education and refugee and asylum seeker issues.
