Public Education Dinner, Blacktown 15 February

Following a highly successful tour by the Australian Education Union Public Education "funding bus" through Queensland and NSW, a dinner was held at Blacktown, in the western suburbs of Sydney on 15 February.

The event was attended by teacher, parent and principal representatives of many of the public schools in marginal federal seats in NSW.

Speakers at the function were Maurie Mulheron, President of the Federation, Dr Lyndsay Connors, Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of Sydney, Angelo Gavrielatos, Federal President AEU, and Jenny Diamond, Federation General Secretary.
