United KingdomSchool inspectors to focus more on lessons, less on data School inspectors will spend more time observing lessons, the government's schools watchdog, Ofsted, revealed today. Inspectors attend lessons for an average of 3.25 hours in primaries and nine hours in secondary schools during inspections.
