Today the membership of the Federation met across the state to vote on a salaries offer from the Government.
At the close of counting today almost 19,000 votes had been counted. Ninety-nine percent have voted in favour of the negotiated settlement.
Maree O'Halloran, Federation President said: "It is unprecedented that a settlement has been reached between the Federation and the State Government without teachers being forced into industrial disputation. This is a positive outcome for public education."
Federation thanks the members for their endorsement of the negotiated settlement.
