Principals' Conference 2017

Federation Conference Centre, 37 Reservoir Street, Surry Hills

8.30am to 3.15pm, registration from 8.15am

The conference will include a mixture of keynote speakers, plenary sessions and workshops with topics including:

  • Role of Public Education in society
  • BOSTES review – Educational Standards Authority
  • EPAC processes – mangaing difficult people
  • Commercialisation in Public Schools
  • Start Well – Self-care: good for you and your work
  • Special Education
  • Small Schools focus

The conference will provide an opportunity to explore and seek advice on these topics, network with colleagues and discuss emerging school-based issues.

This will be a Trade Union Training conference. Principals of P5 and P6 schools may request assistance for relief. It will not be possible, due to the large numbers and costs, to provide relief for all participants.

Attached is a registration form for all participants including a travel and accommodation booking section for country participants. Please note that due to the significant costs in rebooking flights, Federation has implemented a policy whereby costs associated with changes to flights for personal reasons will be borne by the individual.

More detailed information regarding the agenda topics and speakers will be provided in further correspondence.
