In December 2017, Professor Stephen Dinham OAM PhD donated his professional library to the New South Wales Teachers Federation.
Professor Dinham is Professor Emeritus, Melbourne Graduate School of Education, University of Melbourne. Prior to this he was Professor of Instructional Leadership and Associate Dean (Strategic Partnerships and Engagement) in the Melbourne Graduate School of Education at the University of Melbourne.
Professor Dinham's professional library consists of over 600 books and reports about educational leadership and change, effective pedagogy/quality teaching, student achievement, postgraduate supervision, professional teaching standards, teachers' professional development, middle-level leaders in schools, research methods, education law, and teacher satisfaction, motivation and health.
As of November 2019, the entire collection is available for Federation members to borrow. The collection adds great depth to the library's collection of resources to support teacher professional learning. Resources are identifiable via a separate button on the library's online catalogue that links directly to items in the Professor Stephen Dinham Collection.
