Free access to local and international newspapers, ebooks, full text journals, magazines and databases. Resources can be accessed at the State Library of NSW, or for NSW residents, from home with a current State Library of NSW Library card.
The Centre supports the implementation of equity priorities, policies and practices in government schools. The Centre is available for department staff, teachers from community langauge schools, pre-service teachers at university and lecturers. The library's collection has over 45,000 resources including multi-media classroom resources, teaching and learning resources, and professional development materials.
Jessie Street National Women’s Library is a unique specialist library dedicated to the preservation of Australian women’s work, words and history. The Library was established in 1989 and is named after Jessie Street, a lifelong campaigner for women’s rights, the peace movement and the elimination of discrimination against Aboriginal people.
The Jill Sherlock Memorial Learning Assistance Library is an initiative of the NSW Departmen of Education and the Jill Sherlock Memorial Trust. This state facility provides resources to teachers, allied professionals and parents to support the teaching and learning needs of students with learning difficulties, in the context of syllabus and curriculum requirements.
