Women's Conference 2016
The 2016 Women’s Conference will be held on Saturday 20 August from 9am to 4.30pm in Federation's Conference Centre, 37 Reservoir Street, Surry Hills. Drinks and nibbles will be served at a reception immediately following.
In 2016 the conference theme is "Women in education: Leading the way". Delegates attending will focus on womenin education and the community working regularly as leaders in their classrooms, schools and communities. Speakers and workshops will focus on developing women's skills and knowledge to empower them as leaders in their work.
The conference is open to all women financial members of Federation. One delegate from each Association will be funded by the Federation. In addition, ten Aboriginal members and ten TAFE members will be funded. Associations are encouraged to endorse a delegate to attend and are able to fund additional delegates. Delegates that are funded by the Federation or the Association need to have their application endorsed by the Association President or Secretary.

We are still accepting applications from country delegates (requiring travel and/or accommodation bookings) and registration closes on Wednesday 10 August for city delegates (or those arranging their own travel and accommodation).
