This TUT course is open to members who have been elected as Association Special Education Contacts.
Participants will unpack the role statement for Association Special Education Contacts and learn about supports for their role available from Federation.
During the course, participants will interact with the NSW Teachers Federation Special Education policy, and how their local Association can implement this in their local context. They will collaborate on how to support disability matters in their Associations, how to engage in action and talk about unmet need in across association and school.
At the end of the course, members will have a greater understanding and confidence in addressing unmet need in schools.
