Our library stocks more than 14,000 resources relevant to teachers’ professional learning, teaching resources and the union’s campaigns and industrial work. Members may borrow our resources by visiting the library in person or reserving online via the catalogue.
Members have access to a depository of documents to inform them on a range of topics that may form part of their teaching experience, for example Aboriginal education, casual and temporary teaching, TAFE and women in education.
The union has a large bank of documents available to members, which provide information and advice on topics related to teachers’ employment and information explaining teachers’ rights and responsibilities.
Federation invests in research and publishes reports on issues that are relevant to members’ daily concerns in the classroom. The findings of these reports assist with our campaigning to improve teaching and learning conditions.
