Rural Education Conference

Federation’s Rural Education Conference will provide participants with the opportunity to update knowledge on the provision of education to rural and remote students and develop understanding of DoE policies related to rural/remote contexts - particularly in relation to staffing, funding and closing the achievement gap.

The conference is a meeting place for rural and remote teachers who are actively engaged in the Federation, and will provide the opportunity for participants to engage on topics related to teacher experiences in rural and remote settings through workshop sessions – including staffing, teacher housing, the breadth of curriculum, provision of education including pre-school & TAFE as well as incentives.
