- Join the Live Stream/Broadcast
- You should see the live stream player. If the event has started, the stream will play automatically.
- If the event hasn’t started yet, you might see a countdown or a message indicating the start time or simply ‘This event hasn’t started yet’.
Troubleshooting Tips
Refresh the Page
If the live stream does not start within 2 minutes of the advertised start time, try refreshing the page by pressing F5 or clicking the refresh button in your browser.
Check Your Internet Connection
Ensure you have a stable internet connection. You can try disconnecting and reconnecting to your network.
Try a Different Browser
If the stream doesn’t work in your current browser, try opening the link in a different browser.
Clear Browser Cache
Clear your browser’s cache and cookies, then try reaccessing the link.
Audio Not Working
Double-check that you have turned the audio on for the Vimeo player and your computer by checking the bottom right-hand corner of the video and your screen.
Disable Ad Blockers
Some ad blockers can interfere with video playback. Try disabling your ad blocker and refreshing the page.
Restart Your Device
Sometimes, simply restarting your computer or device can resolve playback issues.
Closed Captioning and community languages
Closed captioning is available, simply click the “CC” button located on the bottom right corner of the video and press “Display Captions”. There are several community language captions to choose from. You can press customize to adjust colour and size if required.
