Responding to Complex Student Behaviour: Training on the new DoE Student Behaviour Policy
The Department’s new Student Behaviour Policy (including the Suspension and Expulsion Procedures) was released last year for implementation from Term 1, 2024.
The new documents now provide significant opportunities for members to reassert Federation’s long-standing position that public schools are places of high expectations of student behaviour, which allows teachers to teach and students to learn.
To support members’ understanding of these new policies and assert their right to a safe workplace, your local Teachers Association is hosting a seminar titled Responding to Complex Student Behaviour: Training on the new DoE Student Behaviour Policy.
Details are as follows:
Thursday 9 May
Park Beach Bowls Club, Ocean Parade, Coffs Harbour
Sign in at 4.15pm
Seminar 4.30pm – 6.30pm
Afternoon tea will be provided.
To RSVP, please email [email protected] (while RSVPs are not essential, they are preferred for catering purposes).
