Port Macquarie Teachers Association welcomes all members who live in and around in the Port Macquarie electorate to attend this NSW Teachers Federation Election Forum. School and TAFE teachers, principals, retired and university students are encouraged to attend. This election matters. The future of our profession is at stake along with the quality of public education our children will receive. Without real change, workloads will continue to rise, salaries will continue to fall relative to other professions and the teacher shortages will only worsen. The choice voters make on election day has real consequences for you, your colleagues and the profession.
