Federation members were among the tens of thousands of people who joined Yes walks in Sydney and regional areas at the weekend to show their support for the Yes campaign for the Voice Referendum on 14 October.
The huge crowds boosted supporters’ morale leading into the remaining weeks of campaigning for a change to the Constitution to recognise the First Peoples of Australia by establishing an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to parliament.
Teachers for Yes updates this week
Members are encouraged to tune in to a Teachers for Yes update either on Tuesday 19 September at 8am, or on Thursday 21 September at 4pm.
How you can support the campaign
- Sign up with us to volunteer at a pre-poll or polling place in your area, or at a nearby electorate.
- Use this guide to assist you in conversations to help three undecided or unaware people to decide to vote “yes”.
