Valuing the teaching profession – an independent inquiry will begin public hearings on Monday 31 August in Sydney and continue until Thursday 10 September.
The inquiry, chaired by former premier of Western Australia, the Hon Dr Geoff Gallop AC will investigate the changed nature and value of teachers’ work for the first time in more than 15 years.
The public are invited to attend hearings (subject to COVID safe room capacity). The proceedings will also be live-streamed via the Inquiry website www.teachinginquiry.com.au.
